9:51p first time posting here :)
first post here, due feb 1 and I have a few random questions. I'm going to be a single mom and was wondering if anyone had any pointers for me (single mom or not since they apply to us all) as to things they have found to make it a little easier like any tricks of the trade you have picked up from being a parent (like bringing in shopping bags or cooking and keeping your child(ren) occupied at the same time, pretty much anything is much appreciated)
and what sort of things did you do while you were home on maternity leave besides the wonderfulness of bonding with your child. how soon did you take your little one out to do something for a little time (obviously if im going to eat, although im gonna try and stock up a little before i actually go into labor, im going to have to do this sooner than later, since my immediate family is a good hour plus away from me)
I know while my babys little showering will be easy when hes napping but as he gets older do you have any suggestions as to where to put him (besides in a bouncy seat/swing/crib) while I shower and hes up... I dont want to have to put him in one of those all the time if possible but know for sure cant let him roam around while Im in the shower, which those were the only ones I though of.
I tried looking in the memories/tags and couldnt find a link to another community for this question but what are some good websites to get coupons or free things for the baby (or even a link to a community where I can hunt down as well, totally not picky)?
thanks in advance for any help you can give me! :)

6:27p Changing diapers in public
We were at DD's gymnastic's class this afternoon and DS#2 was napping and DS#1 (age 4) had to poop. Not knowing any of the other adults present (to watch baby for a moment), I chose to put a pull-up on DS#1 and let him poop in it, then changed him in a corner with some modicum of privacy (we were upstairs in the viewing area - bathroom is downstairs).
Would any of you have done the same in a similar situation? No one gave me any dirty looks, but I just want to know that I'm not the only mama who's had to change a diaper in a place that's not usually meant for that.
ETA: I call DS#2 a baby, but he'll be 3 next month. Not sure if that changes anyone's opinion.

9:13p Review Round Up-4x9
Either put your entire review in a comment here, or put a link to a review on your own LJ.
MOD NOTE: For some reason, people sometimes think this is the episode discussion post. It ISN'T.
This is a post where you either put a review/recap or a link to one. A review isn't one line.
The Episode Discussion Post is here .

7:01p Episode Discussion Post-4.9
 Posting Guidelines:
* Keep all discussion of tonight's show in this post only! * Any other discussion entries submitted from tonight into tomorrow about this ep will be rejected. * PLEASE INCLUDE SUBJECT LINES IN YOUR COMMENTS!!! It makes topics much easier to find when the threads collapse, and it takes a second to write one out. * Keep the "OMG!", "WTF!", and other similar comments to a minimum. Those comments can annoy people because they have no idea what happened or what is being discussed. Don't stray too off-topic in the threads as well. * No gratuitous language or oversized capslocks
Problems or Questions?:
Check the Mod Post tag and the Rules tag. If you'd like to look at our past episode posts, they are here (spoilers for earlier episodes, obviously!).
REMEMBER: Comments could contain spoilers about the episode, as people get it at all different times. Theories are welcome!

11:32p dates on postal marks
Hello! Can someone to explain me something about dates on postal marks? For example: 09.11.09 I (in Israel) get card from China. The PK site says it traveled 12 days - sent 28.10.09. On the Chinese postal mark I see the following digits: 20 09 11 03 20. What does it mean?
